Dr Elahi Bakhsh Akhtar Awan
1934 - 2012

My father, Dr Elahi Bakhsh Akhtar Awan dedicated his whole life to education.

After obtaining his doctorate in Linguistics from London he returned to Pakistan, pursuing his career in teaching students of all ages. Later on he moved back to England to continue his research and literary work.

He was a writer of several books and articles; his latest efforts were his life-story "tar-e-nafas" and the explanation of "Wal-Asr", the 103rd chapter of the Holy Quran. He had started translating the Holy Quran with a new angle; this work was left incomplete due to his demise.

He is subject of a Ph.D. thesis which is under completion.

My plan is to upload his efforts and add his publications to the world wide web so that whoever hasn't had a paper-copy of his publications, can benefit from them.

Please bear with me while I post updates.
